GlowLog
Your care, kept personal

Privacy

How GlowLog stores local records and how its advertising SDK processes data.

Effective date: August 4, 2026

GlowLog is a local-first app for keeping personal beauty and care schedules. It does not require an account and does not upload or synchronize your entries to a first-party server.

1. Data stored on your device

The app may store care categories, titles, dates, places, intervals, spending, notes, reviews, membership and pass details, custom calendar entries, preferences, and local copies of attached photos. Selected photos are copied to an application support directory so they remain available with your record.

GlowLog does not upload these entries or photos to the GlowLog operator’s server. Depending on your operating-system settings, app data may be included in a device or cloud backup controlled by your backup provider and settings.

2. Data processed by the advertising SDK

GlowLog uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display banner ads. The SDK may automatically collect and share with Google:

This data may be used for advertising, analytics and ad-performance measurement, and fraud prevention, and is encrypted in transit. Actual processing may vary by region, device settings, consent choices, and advertising configuration.

GlowLog does not directly send your care entries, notes, spending, membership details, or photos to Google for ad personalization. Google’s processing and retention are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

3. Purposes and sharing

Locally stored information is used to show your records, calculate schedules and membership balances, organize your calendar, and retain your preferences. The GlowLog operator does not collect your locally entered records on a first-party server or sell them. Advertising-related data may be processed or shared through Google Mobile Ads for the purposes described above.

4. Retention and deletion

Local records may remain until you delete an entry, clear GlowLog’s app data through the operating system, or uninstall the app. Deleting an individual record removes its record and photo-path reference, but a copied photo may not be removed immediately. To remove all local records and copied photos, clear the app’s data or uninstall it. Backup copies may need to be managed separately.

Advertising data is retained and deleted according to Google’s policies and your advertising settings.

5. Children and audience

GlowLog is a general-audience personal record app and is not designed specifically for children. It does not request a name, email address, or account, but the advertising SDK may process the device and usage information described above. Parents and guardians should review device advertising and privacy settings and supervise use when appropriate.

6. Security

Local records are kept in storage provided by your device and operating system. We recommend using a device lock, keeping the operating system updated, and reviewing backup settings. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security.

7. Changes

We may revise this policy if app features, the advertising SDK, or operating practices change. We will update the effective date and provide notice through the app or its distribution page when appropriate.
